Winter is excellent for Pruning or Removal
.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

  1. Lack of leaves enables the arborist to see the tree structure clearly
  2. Dormant perennials & inactive gardens mean less obstacles during tree work .
  3. Frozen ground reduces the risk of turf and yard damage during Tree Removal
  4. The lack of leaves can make the cleanup process faster and save you money

Winter is a great for Property Tours

As an arborist, I can see the overall layout of your trees in the landscape quite vividly in winter without the various plants, understory brush, and fully leaved trees obstructing my view of the spacing and structure of your trees .

Oak  and  Elm  Pruning

Oaks and Elms are to be pruned between November 1 and April 1 as a rule of thumb and accepted practice by competent arborists. The cold and sterile-like conditions of winter offer  the opportunity to prune trees and shrubs that are susceptible to, or under pressure from insect and disease problems.
